Miss America 2015, Kira Kazantsev, and Her Real Message about Beauty!
Kira Kazantsev wins the title of Miss America and gives the world a message about beauty!
Once in a while reality peaks it’s ugly head out through the smoked screens of marketing and show business and screams, ‘this is the real truth.’
Such is the case with the crowning of Miss Kira Kazantsev as Miss America 2014. She took the lessons, worked the cat walk, talked the talk and yes, won the prize. But then, as I walked past the television hearing the grim details of her past, I rolled my eyes and thought, “Here goes another egocentric feminine illusion crashing on the floor.” Miss Kira was reported to have been kicked out of her sorority for hazing.
And it’s true, Miss America 2015, Kira Kazantsev, was truly kicked out of her Long Island college sorority after a hazing scandal. She admitted it on “Good Morning America.” Of course she denied any physical abuse, as though that makes the other forms of abuse any better. By the way, it’s just as easy to kill the self-worth of another with a stare or a look then an actual slap.
I stood there for a moment and stiffened as she smoothed her luscious locks and gazed doe like into the camera helpless as a babe in woods. She tried to explain and gave some lame excuses for a misinterpreted email and harmless hazing tasks.
But reports claimed pledges were called names, criticized over their appearance and made to perform physically difficult tasks to the point of exhaustion. I find most people who make such claims have at least some validity to their stories. But then there was more. She also had other controversies concerning a three month internship for Planned Parenthood. Now there’s a pattern which makes me believe this long legged queen is talking faster then you can spell, “lier lier pants on fire.”
However, it didn’t surprise me to hear this wicked bad girl tale. Although I must admit I’m always more shocked by the way the press acts. They react as though this is a one of a kind incident, an anomaly, a freak act of nature with such lovely ladies who are beauty contestants, actors, and models. It’s as though they just came from the dark ages; seriously, where are the brains of most people that buy into such crap!
The most hypocritical part of Miss Kira’s snake charming ways is that her platform in the competition was anti-domestic abuse. Can you believe it? It makes me sick to my stomach that pretty girls are often the worst manipulators around, the players of all players. Then they use their charms to turn victim and run to bigger and stronger handlers to rescue their poor little broken hearts capatilizing on all of the poor treatment they’ve had to endure just because someone was mean to them.
The real platform for Miss America 2014, Kira Kazantsev, should be:
- Beauty on the outside does not always reflect inner beauty.
- What you see is not always what you get.
- Looks open the doors and cunning plots devoid of integrity is just ‘smart strategy.’
- Snake charmers are alive and well today.
- Girls lie to keep their queen status.
- Superficial men will get just what they deserve; superficial chicks aka use and be used.
So the next time a stunning little filly strolls past you at the make up counter ladies, look her in the eye and see what’s in the soul before you quake and quiver at her statuesque grace. She could be just another snake charmer.
